Tradewinds Park & Stables
Tradewinds Park & Stables is a 625-acre Broward County park just west of Coral Springs offering pony rides, an equestrian center, nature trails, sports fields, picnic pavilions, and a beloved model railroad. It's one of the most popular school field trip and family group outing destinations in the county. Charter buses and school buses enter via Sample Road, with ample large-vehicle parking in the main lot.

Tall Cypress Natural Area
Tall Cypress Natural Area is a 68-acre cypress wetland and upland habitat preserve managed by Broward County Parks, right inside Coral Springs city limits. A boardwalk trail winds through the cypress canopy, offering outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities — wading birds, alligators, soft-shell turtles, and native Florida flora. Admission is free, and the parking lot accommodates school buses and small charter buses with no advance permit required.
It's one of the most popular nature field trip destinations for Coral Springs elementary and middle schools. A perfect half-day outing for any group that loves the outdoors!
